I'm not really sure how I feel about metallic spandex. I absolutely love how shiny it is. To me, the shinier spandex is, the better. It also feels very smooth and cold to the touch.
However, one problem with it is that the shininess can rub off. Usually the shine in metallic spandex is caused by tiny dots and those dots can rub off if you excessively rub any area of the clothes.
As you can imagine, I rub certain areas a lot when I wear spandex. Of course, that's only when I don't have someone else to rub it for me! So that is a problem. My favorite spandex is the type that was very popular in the 80s and early 90s, that was a nylon lycra, shiny but not metallic. It seems like that kind is hard to find today, though. What are your feelings toward metallic spandex?
